Every year, Faith Assembly has the opportunity to be part of something truly special through Operation Christmas Child, a ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. Gift-filled shoeboxes are delivered to children around the world, providing toys, school supplies, personal care items, and, most importantly, an opportunity to hear the Gospel of Jesus Christ. For many children, these shoeboxes are the first gift they have ever received.
At Faith Assembly, we support Operation Christmas Child throughout the entire year by collecting items to fill these shoeboxes. Every item donated, whether it is a small toy, school supply, or personal care item, helps us build boxes that are fun, full, and personalized for children in need. We also pray over these gifts and the children who will receive them, knowing that each shoebox is more than a gift. It is a tangible expression of God’s love.
We invite our church family to join us throughout the year by picking up a few extra items while shopping and placing them in our Operation Christmas Child collection. Together, we can fill shoeboxes, share the love of Christ, and help bring joy to children around the world.
